BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Validity - The above quote/booking is based on pricing information currently available and may change prior to finalisation of the itinerary. The above arrangements are also subject to availability at the time of booking and any other unforeseen changes that are beyond the control of our company. All prices are quoted in United States dollar amounts.
TO CONFIRM A BOOKING:
Payment & Booking Forms - To confirm a booking a deposit of 25% of the tour cost for bookings made at least 60 days prior to the departure date. DESTINATION WORLD must receive the deposit within 7 days after notification of the reservation or the date 60 days prior to the departure date, whichever occurs first. The balance of the tour cost must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the departure date; or the whole tour cost for bookings made less than 60 days from the departure date. DESTINATION WORLD must receive this within 72 hours of notification of the reservation.
Payment of the deposit or in full indicates acceptance of our Terms & Conditions. It is advisable to obtain travel insurance at the time of payment, in order to cover yourself / client in the event of cancellation due to unforseen circumstances.
Terms & Conditions - DESTINATION WORLD and its suppliers require that the Deed of Acknowledgement and Release must be signed & returned immediately by fax or post.
Travel Insurance - It is also our company policy that all clients must obtain comprehensive Travel Insurance cover. Please provide us with a copy of your insurance policy with 24-hour contact details should these be required in an emergency.
Cancellation Fees: If a cancellation is received more than 90 days prior to the departure date, DESTINATION WORLD will retain or charge a cancellation fee of $2,500.00 per person. If a cancellation is received between 61 days and 90 days before the departure date, DESTINATION WORLD will retain or charge the full deposit (being 25% of the tour cost) as the cancellation fee. If a cancellation is received between 45 days and 60 days prior to the departure date, DESTINATION WORLD will deduct or charge 50% of the tour cost as the cancellation fee. If a cancellation is received less than 45 days prior to the departure date, DESTINATION WORLD will deduct or charge 100% of the tour cost as the cancellation fee. In addition, the Client will be required to pay any cancellation fees imposed by Suppliers of DESTINATION WORLD, which are not covered by the cancellation fees detailed in this clause.
