Condé Nast Traveler readers say:

Lynette recently planned a trip to Australia for my husband and me and did an excellent job. Before we got started, we talked at length about our interests, preferences and budget -- as well as about past trips we'd taken -- and she used all this information to put together a great itinerary for us that truly exceeded expectations. Our trip took us to Sydney, Port Douglas, a cruise on a barrier reef, Kangaroo Island and the Barossa Valley. The accommodations Lynette selected were excellent, and she and her team took care of all the details with flights, transfers and activities. Everything was very well-organized, and there were no hitches whatsoever. Like many of Lynette's other clients, we stayed at Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island and loved it -- a major splurge but well worth it. Lynette really takes care of her clients, and I would recommend her to anyone who is planning a trip to this part of the world.

As the owner of Great Getaways travel in NC I've worked with many tour operators. I can't say enough about the incredible customer service that I as well as my clients the Tavakoli's received!! They stayed 2 weeks in an incredible 3 bedroom Savasi private villa in Savusavu from Sep15-29, 2012. They absolutely raved about the attention to every detail: from meeting them at the airport with handmade shell leis to the incredible dining experiences such as the lobster feast with special Fijian birthday cake! They were pampered each day with escorted excursions and the lovely touches that only Ma could bring!! EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS is what Lynette Wilson specializes in. This was definitely a dream come true for all parties involved! Thank-you Lynette for going the extra mile to make a truly special Fijian GREAT GETAWAY that will be treasured for a lifetime!!

We are just returning from the most wonderful trip to Fiji planned by Lynette. From the moment that we got in touch with her, she offered just the right amount of insight, allowing us to have exactly the kind of trip we wanted (well, actually better than we had even hoped), with gentle guidance throughout! She planned every detail--important in a new country-- so that at any transition, instead of sitting and wondering how to find our next destination, some smiling delegate of Lynette's would appear to spirit us away to the next location. Throughout the planning process, every question that I emailed was always immediately answered--giving us not only important information, but the confidence to know that our trip was in the most experienced and caring of hands.

We used Wendy's list to pick for my husband's 60th birthday trip to French Polynesia, so as I was due to turn 60 this past September, he asked me where I wanted to go. Originally, I thought Africa, and then I saw an article on Australia that looked really different. Not all the normal places that people visit, but a real adventure that got us into the country and some time with the people, outside of the big cities. Once again, I went to your site, and picked the person that was recommended for that part of the world.

I started talking with Lynette when she was with you in Las Vegas at the travel conference. We immediately hit It off. She listened to what I was looking for -- not the big city, Barrier Reef tour, but to visit places that are Australia, not the tourist version. We discussed back in forth things that we like and hate when we travel, an by the time she was finished, she had set up a fantastic trip.

Without doing the entire trip over, we visited the Top End, and stayed at Bamarru, a working station. Perfect start after our 24 hours in Sydney. A real life feel for what the Outback is back, as we woke in the morning to see water buffalo and wallabies outside of our room. Wonderful food. An incredible conversation one evening between a Spanish couple, a German couple living in England, an Australian couple and a French couple and us. A real sense of just how similar we all really are, and how small this world really is.

On to the Ghan train. My husband said it reminded him of 007 - James Bond. Met to elderly Australia cousins, ladies traveling together -- one 79, one 89. What a delight. Had dinner and breakfast with them on the train. Spent time in the lounge with another 20 Aussies -- lots of back and forth and kidding and just a real feel for the people.

On to Ulura. Excellent accommodations and a visit with a 6 week old rescued camel. I feel in love. Something we would never get to do is not only camel ride, but pet a little boy named Mallee. Hiking and sunrise and sunset over the Rock, just awesome.

And then on the Kangaroo Island for my birthday. Unbelievable. On the one hour drive from the airport, we were spotting wallabies, as we would spot here at night here. The Southern Ocean Lodge was past belief. We came in at night and when we say it the next morning, there were no words. For my birthday, we did a 7 mile hike, came out on the ocean that was as blue as the Caribbean. I didn't know it was possible. Food was fantastic, staff just awesome.

Lynette surpassed the trip I had hoped for. The people on your list are superb.

Lynette Wilson and her staff put together an incredible trip for us to Australia in January of this year. The places we wanted to visit included Tasmania, Melbourne, The Great Ocean Road and then Adelaide and Kangaroo Island. We had a great time! We really appreciated the telephone updates regarding road conditions in Victoria and South Australia. Our trip was during January of this year and there had been horrible rains and flooding. Thankfully we were not involved in any of that situation. But we could see where there had been mud sidles across the Great Ocean Road and signs were still posted. Lynette and her team kept us posted on which roads to take to avoid the problem spots.

It was a wonderful trip and staying at Southern Ocean Lodge near the end of our trip was the perfect ending! However the bed and breakfast places that we stayed, Apollo Bay, Port Fairy and Robe, were also very nice and allowed us to get a little flavor of the towns. We really enjoyed all aspects for our trip!. The excursions were top notch too! Lynette arraigned for a driver to take us from Melbourne to Phillips Island for a private small group visit with night vision goggles to see the Fairy Penguins as they came ashore on the beach. On Tasmania we had a boat trip planned and 3 days before our departure Lynette notified us of the ships demise. They we able to provide alternatives on short notice!

We are looking forward to working with Lynette and her team for the next several trips to Australia and Fiji too!

In December 2010 I used Perrin's People to find a specialist for Australia.

One evening I called an 800 telephone number from my home in California to Australia (I thought). Lynette Wilson answered in Fiji! I described a 3+ week of travel for July-August 2011 in Australia and asked her advice and direction. Through emails & phone calls over the next 10 days, a proposed travel itinerary including hotels, internal flights & mini tours came to life. I needed to secure the plan early to book my international flights using frequent flyer miles. Lynette planned a counter clockwise journey from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Darwin & Kakadu, finishing in Port Douglas for the Great Barrier Reef & Cape Tribulation. I had planned it as an interesting pre-extension trip before flying from Cairns to Port Moresby to join a small group tour of Papua New Guinea. But I fell in love with Australia - the wild & wonderful animals, topography, sights and people make this a magical land.

Lynette really delivered - every detail unfolded without a hitch.

I recently went to Papua New Guinea on a trip that was put together by Lynette Wilson with Destination World. The trip was a great success. The travel arrangements, internal flights, itinerary and accommodations were all very good. I would be happy to use this agency with future travel plans.

Lynette did a wonderful job organizing our honeymoon. She sent us to the most romantic island where we were the only guests for the first 2 days. After that we barely saw the other 5 guests. She listened, explained and took her time with us. She even answered my first phone call to her at 3 am in the morning as she was actually in Fiji! Loved the island and loved working with her.
