Australia — Come say G'day

This tour has it all: the fascinating wildlife and scenery of Kangaroo Island, the famous vineyards and premium wines of the Barossa Valley, the charming buildings and colorful parks of Adelaide.

Day 1. Arrive Adelaide — Arrive at Adelaide Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The day is at your leisure. Two Night Stay: Radisson Playford (Boutique Hotel) or similar.

Day 2. Barossa Valley Wineries, Tastings — Head west of the city into the Barossa Valley, one of Australia's most celebrated wine districts. Explore the Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre and enjoy tastings at three premium vineyards. Indulge in a delicious lunch. (L)

Day 3. Sea Lions, Kangaroos, Wetlands Birds — Depart Adelaide by air (cost of flight included) arriving on Kangaroo Island by 9.45 a.m. Enjoy an island introduction before heading out to spot kangaroos, koalas and echidnas in the wild. Take a guided beach walk at Seal Bay to see Australian sea lions up close. Enjoy lunch in the bush, followed by a bushwalk. Visit a wetlands area to see birdlife. Accommodation: Kangaroo Lodge or similar (L)

Day 4. Flinders Chase, Koalas, Fur Seals — In Flinders Chase National Park, see New Zealand fur seals and explore the Remarkable Rocks. After lunch in a bush setting, we discover the Rocky River region and visit Hanson Bay Sanctuary in search of koalas. At dusk, enter Kelly Hill Conservation Park to see kangaroos grazing. Your tour concludes in time for a 6.00 p.m. flight to Adelaide, (cost of flight included) arriving at 6.45 p.m. (L)
