Enjoy this independent package and discover the grace and charm of Melbourne, award-winning vineyards, unique Australian wildlife and the world famous Penguin Parade at Phillip Island.

Day 1. Melbourne — Welcomed on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation: Melbourne for 3 nights at the Hotel Sofitel or similar.

Day 2. City Sights, Penguin Parade — Enjoy the morning sightseeing around Melbourne. Take in the city views and Port Phillip Bay. See Parliament House, Fitzroy Gardens, Victoria Markets and historic Carlton. In the afternoon journey to Phillip island to witness the amazing Penguin Parade as a colony of Little Penguins make their way to the safety of their shore burrows.

Day 3. Puffing Billy, Wineries — Travel into the Dandenong National Park, to the east of the city. Ride Puffing Billy steam train through towering forests, and enjoy billy tea and lamingtons. Early in the afternoon relax with a spit lunch at Fergusson's Winery before visiting Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary and see the 'Eagles Fly' demonstration. (L)

Day 4. Melbourne — Enjoy a free morning before your transfer to Melbourne's airport.
